Welcome to Koenur. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.koenur.com, our mobile app, and any purchase you make from us (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is owned and operated by Koenur (“Koenur”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, or by placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
• “Customer”, “you” means any person who accesses the Platform or places an order.
• “Products” means the jewellery and accessories offered for sale on the Platform.
• “Order” means a request placed by you to purchase one or more Products.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Platform or place an Order. By using the Platform, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate and complete, and that you will keep it updated.
3. Your account
You may need to create an account to shop with us. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or are used for any unlawful or fraudulent activity.
4. Products
Our Products are fashion jewellery. Because each piece is finished and plated individually, it may show slight, natural variations in colour, finish, texture or size. These variations are inherent to plated fashion jewellery and are not considered defects. Koenur pieces are typically crafted on a stainless steel, brass or alloy base with 18kt gold plating. We make every effort to display colours and details accurately, but actual appearance may vary slightly due to your device's screen. Please read each product description carefully before ordering.
5. Pricing & taxes
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST, unless stated otherwise. For international orders, prices exclude customs duties and import taxes, which are borne by the customer per local regulations. We reserve the right to revise prices at any time before you place an Order. In the rare event of a pricing error, we may cancel the affected Order and refund any amount paid.
6. Orders & acceptance
Your Order is an offer to purchase. All Orders are subject to acceptance and product availability, and a contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to accept, limit or decline any Order — for example, where stock is unavailable, where there is a suspected error, or where fraudulent or abusive activity is suspected.
7. Payment
We accept major payment methods including credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking and select wallets, as shown at checkout. Cash on Delivery (COD) is available on most domestic pin codes.
• For Orders above ₹ 4,000, a partial-COD applies: 15% of the Order value is payable upfront as a prepaid token, with the balance due on delivery. This upfront amount is non-refundable once the Order has been dispatched.
• All payments are processed through secure, third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card or UPI credentials.
8. Shipping & exchange
Shipping timelines, charges, and our exchange and store-credit terms are set out in our separate Shipping & Exchange Policy, we do not offer returns or refunds once an Order is placed, except in the case of a lost shipment. We are happy to offer an exchange or store credit, subject to the conditions in that policy. Sale and customised items are not eligible for exchange.
9. Promotions, offers & coupons
Discounts, coupons and promotional offers are valid for limited periods, may be subject to additional conditions, and cannot be combined unless expressly stated. We may modify or withdraw any offer at any time without prior notice. Offers and coupon codes have no cash value and are non-transferable.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including the Koenur name, logo, product designs, images, graphics, text and layout — is owned by or licensed to Koenur and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use of our designs or content may result in legal action.
11. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:
• Use the Platform in any way that breaches applicable laws or these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Platform or its security
• Upload or transmit any harmful code, spam, or misleading content
• Use the Platform to infringe the rights of others or to engage in fraudulent activity
12. Reviews & user content
When you post reviews, photos, comments or tag us on social media, you grant Koenur a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and share that content for marketing and promotional purposes, with attribution where practical. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm it does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law. We may remove any content at our discretion.
13. Third-party links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Accessing such links is at your own risk, and we encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.
14. Disclaimers
The Platform and Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure at all times. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Koenur shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform or any Product. Our total liability in connection with any Order shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that Order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Koenur, its directors, employees and partners from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
17. Force majeure
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where it results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural calamities, strikes, courier or supply disruptions, technical failures, or government actions.
18. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the dispute-resolution clause below, the courts at Noida(U.P) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform.
19. Dispute resolution & grievances
We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern amicably. Any dispute that cannot be settled may be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in New Delhi, before a sole arbitrator. For complaints, you may reach our Grievance Officer (details below), who will address your concern within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its “Last updated” date, is always available on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
